Tips: Windows protects some folders (e.g. the C:\ root, Windows, Program Files, AppData). If the browser refuses a folder, pick a sub-folder or use 🛠 Compatible mode. In Compatible mode the browser asks "Upload files to this site?". Nothing is uploaded; everything stays on your PC.
Tip: To get the folder path, open the folder in File Explorer, click the address bar, and copy it (Ctrl+C).

Part 2 – Search in found files

Search only the file extension Search exactly match case sensitive

Click a file name to open it: 👁 opens in the built-in viewer · 📝 opens in Word/Excel/PowerPoint · ⬇ downloads a copy to open · 🔒 program – path is copied instead

Select a folder and click Search in Part 1 first.
